I am currently working as a graphic design teacher at the Bill R. JohnsonCTE Center. Previously, I taught construction for 1 year in Keller and graphic communications in Garland for 9 years. At Garland High School, I was incharge of the Professional Learning Community Trainings/Meetings forother Graphic Design teachers. I was also selected to be an i3 (technologyinstructional coach) teacher in a 1 to 1 educational technology initiative in Garland ISD for 5 years. I am also currently working part time as a Digital Media Consultant for Indigo River Tiny Homes.
From the summer of 2012 to the summer of 2013, I worked as a custom cabinet designer for Rutledge Wood Products.
I have also worked in architecture for 6 years, ranging from historical restoration and hospital design to custom residential design. (see architectural design)
I enjoy utilizing the different types of experience I have received throughout the years. The experience I have gained working in different disciplines has only broadened my knowledge of technology and I am looking forward to how this will shape my future.
